We believe an informed customer is a happy customer. Here's everything you need to know before, during, and after your shipment.

Keep the Tank ¼ Full or Less
Fuel adds weight to the transport load. Keep your tank between ⅛ and ¼ full, enough to load and unload, not enough to weigh the carrier down.

Clean the Exterior
A clean car makes the photo inspection accurate. Dirt can hide pre-existing scratches that could create disputes later. Wash before pickup. The driver will perform a full inspection at pickup and both parties sign off on the vehicle's condition.

Remove Personal Items
FMCSA regulations prohibit carriers from transporting personal belongings inside vehicles. A few small items under 100 lbs are acceptable if safely stored and not covering any windows. Please notify us in advance if you plan to leave any personal items in the vehicle.

Keys & EV Charge
If shipping an EV or hybrid, make sure the battery is charged enough to load and unload the vehicle. Low charge can cause issues during transport. Confirm the receiving party knows the car is coming and has a way to access it.

Deactivate Toll Tags
Remove or deactivate any toll transponders (E-ZPass, SunPass, etc.) before pickup. They may register charges during transport across multiple states. If you can't remove the device, contact your toll provider to temporarily suspend the account.

Note Any Pre-Existing Damage
Walk around your vehicle with the driver during the pickup inspection. Point out any existing dents, scratches, or chips so both parties agree on the vehicle's condition before transport. This is documented on the Bill of Lading and protects everyone.

Booking Confirmed (Day 0)
You'll receive an order confirmation with your assigned dispatch contact. We begin sourcing a driver immediately and typically have one assigned within 0–2 days.

Driver Assigned & Pickup Scheduled
Once a driver is assigned, they'll load your vehicle within the next 24–48 hours. We'll provide the driver's name, contact info, and your pickup window.

The driver performs a full vehicle inspection with timestamped photos and completes a Bill of Lading (BoL). Both parties sign off on the vehicle's condition before it's loaded.

Your vehicle is on the road. You'll have access to tracking information and can reach your dispatch contact any time for updates on your shipment.
Delivered & Final Inspection
The driver delivers to your address and performs a final photo inspection. The recipient signs the delivery BoL. An electronic copy of the BoL is available for your records. If anything looks off, note it on the BoL before signing.

The BoL is the official legal document recording your vehicle's condition at pickup and delivery. It's your receipt and protection. Never sign a blank one.

What to Check at Delivery
Before signing, do a full walk-around in good light. Check for new scratches, dents, fluid leaks, and verify the odometer hasn't moved more than a few miles.

Note any new damage on the delivery BoL before the driver leaves. Take your own photos. Then contact us immediately, our team handles the claim process end to end.

When do I pay?
Payment is due before we assign a driver, processed securely via our payment link. No hidden fees added at delivery. If your plans change after payment, we'll issue a full refund within 24–48 hours.

How long does shipping take?
Short routes (under 500 miles): 1–3 days. Mid-range (500–1,500 miles): 3–6 days. Cross-country: 7–10 days. Your quote will show the specific estimate.

Open vs. Enclosed, which do I need?
Open is standard and used for most vehicles. Enclosed is recommended for luxury, exotic, classic, or high-value vehicles where extra protection is worth the premium.

What if my car doesn't run?
Inoperable vehicles are accepted on open transport with a winch fee. Let us know at booking and we'll assign a carrier equipped to handle it.

Will they come to my house?
Yes, door-to-door is standard. In some cases (narrow streets, gated communities) the driver may need to meet nearby. They'll coordinate with you in advance.
